２５日の新華社電によると、中国陝西省西安市の西安交通大学の付属病院で５日から
１５日までの間に入院中の新生児８人が相次いで死亡した。
衛生省は事態を重視し、原因調査を開始。何らかの院内感染の可能性があるとしている。
死亡した新生児は粉ミルクを飲んでおらず、汚染粉ミルク事件とは無関係という。（共同）
